Just one day after DL Maurice Hurst announced he would return to the Michigan Wolverines for one final season next year, FB Khalid Hill gave Michigan fans something else to be excited for, as he announced on Twitter he would return to the Wolverines in 2017.

Hill mentioned in his tweet he was waiting for his NFL draft grade before he made his decision, but apparently that didn’t matter to him anymore.
The Detroit native had a season to remember in 2016. Even though he only rushed the ball 25 times for 39 yards, he led the team in rushing touchdowns with 10. He also put up 105 receiving yards on 14 catches for two touchdowns.
Jim Harbaugh has shown he loves his big men, especially his fullbacks, when the offense gets to the goal line. FB Sione Houma had 43 rushes for 184 yards and five touchdowns in 2015, and was largely dependent in the same way Hill was this season.
The Wolverines are now seven days away from their showdown in the Orange Bowl with Florida State. Michigan fans will watch this game and know for a fact it is not Hill’s final game dressed in the maize and blue.
