Dawkins is ranked No. 310 in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports. He is the second-best center and the No. 10 ranked player from the state of New Jersey.
The top-ranked center in the 2018 class is Tyrone Sampson Jr., who has offers from Akron, Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, Syracuse, and Western Michigan. Sampson Jr., from East English Vilage Prep High School (MI), is ranked No. 262 in the 2018 class.
The 6-foot-3, 295-pound center has offers to play for Duke, North Carolina, Boston College, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Old Dominion, Syracuse, and Temple.
From The Peddie School in Hightstown, New Jersey, Dawkins helped lead the Falcons to a 6-2 record. He protected quarterback Allan Walters, a 2018 three-star committed to Vanderbilt.
