After narrowly missing the College Football Playoff, the Michigan Wolverines will face the Florida State Seminoles in the Orange Bowl.
A New Year’s Six bowl is still a pretty cool place to end the season, especially against a big opponent like the ‘Noles. The two programs have only met twice before, with one win each.
Jim Harbaugh was around for the first-ever meeting between the two as he quarterbacked the Wolverines to a 20-18 victory in 1986.
Here’s proof:
Not only did Harbaugh beat Bobby Bowden, he overcame a secondary including Neon Deion Sanders. So the Orange Bowl will be a rematch of sorts in a matchup that Harbaugh has won once already.
