After two demoralizing home losses to Indiana and Michigan State, Michigan is like the runaway train in Unstoppable that is speeding through the Stanton Curve too fast. The right wheels are raised in the air, and the train is on the verge of tipping over. However, the left wheels still are on the track because Michigan still is on the bubble and can prevent a catastrophe. To do so, the Wolverines must beat Minnesota, who is 0-11 in the Big Ten and 245th in RPI. A win would mean that the right wheels would lower closer to the track. A loss would send the Wolverine locomotive right over the edge.
I don't think that Michigan will derail tonight. Check out my full game preview here.
What do you think? Does Michigan return to its winning ways? Or does chaos take over?
