Former Michigan wide receiver Brian Cole (Saginaw, MI) will transfer to Kentucky, according to Justin Rowland, who is the publisher of CatsIllustrated.com -- Rivals' Kentucky affiliate. Rowland reported on Friday that Cole was in Lexington to visit the Kentucky campus and coaching staff. It appears that visit has concluded with Cole committing to finishing his career with UK.

On January 28th, it was reported that Cole had been dismissed from the Michigan program. There was no official release or reason disclosed, but there had been reports that he was in hot water with the coaching staff. When Jim Harbaugh was asked about Cole's status after the initial report, he would only say that Cole was still in school.

Cole was in the Michigan program for just one season, enrolling as the highest-rated recruit of U-M's small 2015 class -- No. 74 overall according to the 247Sports Composite. He appeared in three games as a true freshman, catching one pass for minus-one yard in the opener against Utah. Cole switched to safety for Michigan's Citrus Bowl practices.
