Joel Honigford Talks Michigan Offer, Plans A Visit

Joel Honigford is a 3-star OT out of Ohio, but looks to be trending towards a 4-star with an offer list that includes Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Auburn, and more.

Honigford is the #63 overall OT, according to the 247 composite rankings. Without a visit, he's already speaking highly of Michigan after they offered him earlier this week.

"I was really excited (when I got the offer) and just felt humbled to have the opportunity to go (to Michigan)," he said. "I really like (the Michigan staff) a lot."

Honigford also passed along how serious he is considering Michigan's offer.

"More than a lot of others," he answered. "The tradition and the program is starting to rise again."

Honigford will visit Michigan in the summer, he told MnB. Currently, his 247 crystal ball reads all Michigan State, but with Michigan offering him, things could change.

This could end up being a Harbaugh-Dantionio bout for an offensive lineman.
