Malcolm Epps (Houston, TX) is a 4-star TE that is committed to Alabama for the class of 2018. He was offered by Michigan, and had a lot of positive thoughts for Michigan fans to read.
"I was lost for words," Epps said of when he received his Michigan offer. "Whenever I have a free weekend (I will visit)."
Epps' father also has a history with Michigan that could be big in their pursuit for him.
"(Michigan) is my dad's dream school when it comes to sports," he said. "It might (have an effect on my recruitment.)"
Epps said he doesn't know much about Michigan, but he knows the most important thing Michigan fans care about.
"I don't know anything about the school," he said. "All I know is that Michigan can't stand Ohio State."
Epps is an early Alabama commit in the 2018 class. At this point, we know nothing about whether that will change. But, with his father so high on Michigan, and Epps himself already wanting to visit, there's a shot for Michigan.
Epps could be a 5-star by this time next year.
