Kolin Demens is a 6-1, 200-pound linebacker out of Detroit. His brother Kenny, currently with the Arizona Cardinals, is a former Michigan linebacker.
With Demens being a legacy, his recent Michigan offer was inevitable. Kolin is already bigger than Kenny was, and as a 2018 is nowhere near what his ceiling could be. Currently, 247 does not have any ratings in for him, but look for that to be taken care of as the season approaches.
Demens spoke to MnB about his recent offer, and what it means to him.
"I was very excited when I first heard the news," he said. "I could not believe it."
Demens also spoke a little about his brother, Kenny.
"My brother does have a big impact on succes for me," he said. "Not that I want to follow his foot steps, but being like him."
Demens is also a big fan of Michigan's staff.
"Oh, I like their staff a lot!" he said.
Demens is set to visit Michigan in June. It's early for a 2018, but don't count out Michigan for an early commitment here.
