Good news continues to trickle in on the recruiting trail after Friday's spring game.

2017 four-star offensive center Cesar Ruiz (Brandenton, FL) released a list of schools in his top 12 in order via Twitter on Sunday evening, and the Wolverines are at the very top:

The other schools in Ruiz's top three are Alabama at #2 and North Carolina at #3.

Most have projected that Michigan has been the favorite in Ruiz's recruitment with the Wolverines at 83% in his 247Sports Crystal Ball. He is originally from New Jersey, a state that Jim Harbaugh's staff has targeted heavily during its time in Ann Arbor, and transferred to the IMG Academy in Florida, where Michigan just spent a week for a portion of its spring practices. Ruiz then made an unofficial visit to Michigan to attend Friday's spring game and now confirmed that the Wolverines are leading for his services.

However, it is not believed that Ruiz will make a commitment anytime soon.

Ruiz is ranked as the nation's best center and the 161st-best prospect overall in the 2017 class per the 247Sports Composite. He holds 30 offers, some of which are from the likes of Alabama, North Carolina, Oklahoma, LSU, Clemson, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, and Florida State. He clearly is a coveted recruit and would be a great pickup for Michigan.
