“I believe so,” said Hayes, who is from Pattonville High School in Maryland Heights, Missouri, regarding the possibility of getting a Michigan offer.
The 6-foot-6, 320-pound lineman would put Michigan at the top of his list if they offered because “they are a big time power house in the Big 10.” Hayes even said there would be a “good possibility” of him committing to Michigan.
Hayes mentioned to Maize n Brew that Oklahoma is currently very close on sending him an offer.

While Oklahoma has not offered the three-star yet, Hayes has offers to play for Missouri, Illinois, Iowa State, Kansas State, Miami (FL), Minnesota, Purdue, Miami (OH), New Mexico, and Western Michigan.
Hayes is ranked as the 363rd overall player in the Class of 2017, according to 247Sports. He is the 38th rated offensive tackle and the fourth-best player in the state of Missouri.
The three-star will most likely wait until National Signing Day to commit.
