Jordan Reid, a 2017 three-star offensive guard from Cass Technical in Detroit, Michigan, will commit during The Opening, which is from July 7-10.

"After discussing with my family and coaches I've decided to announce my commitment at The Opening Finals during the 7 on 7 tournament on ESPNU," Reid said on Twitter. "Stay tuned."
Reid has offers to Florida, Michigan, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Arizona, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Louisville, Memphis, Nebraska, Syracuse, Toledo, West Virginia, and Western Michigan. He was recruited to Michigan by Tim Drevno. The finalists for the offensive lineman are Florida, Michigan, Michigan State, Pittsburgh and Tennessee.
The 6-foot-4, 285-pound beast is the 341st overall player in the Class of 2017, according to 247Sports. He ranks No. 15 among offensive guards and is 11th overall in the state of Michigan.
“Just have a good relationship with the coaching staff, very comfortable with the stability of the coaching staff, not moving around, year to year good program,” Reid said to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports regarding the school he’s choosing.
“I didn’t want to wait till signing day and after the season and with the season approaching fast I knew I wanted to get things out the way and have a solid spot.” Reid mentioned.
