Michigan Cracks Top Three for Elite 2017 CB
Darnay Holmes (CA) told our own Evan Petzold that Michigan will crack his top three, with the other schools to be determined. Holmes is a five-star cornerback in the 2017 class, ranked No. 1 overall at the position and second overall in his home state of California. He also sits at eighth overall in the nation in the 2017 cycle.

Commit Dylan McCaffrey Chosen as Elite 11 QB Finalist
Per Steve Lorenz of Wolverine247 (FREE), Michigan quarterback commit Dylan McCaffrey has been named a finalist for Elite 11 quarterback contest in July at the Nike headquarters.
Per the article, McCaffrey has also been playing the role of recruiter for the Wolverines as of late. Most notably, the QB commit is setting his sights on WR targets Nico Collins and Donovan Peoples-Jones. The younger brother of Stanford standout Christian McCaffrey, he is the No. 1 pro-style QB in the 2017 cycle, per the 247Composite.
Top NJ Prospect to Visit Michigan
Per Steve Lorenz of Wolverine247 ($), the top prospect in New Jersey, Tyler Friday, will pay a visit to Ann Arbor this weekend. Friday is a four-star defensive tackle in the 2018 cycle. Per the article, Michigan offered Friday back in the fall and this will be his first trip to see the Wolverines.

Michigan Among Top Schools for 2018 TE
Per Brandon Brown of Rivals ($), MIchigan lands among the top schools for 2018 tight end Zach Sheffer (FL). When talking with Rivals, Sheffer mentioned that Coach Harbaugh's use of tight ends is what is currently drawing him to the Wolverines. The TE holds offers from other programs such as Auburn, Tennessee, and Boston College.
