From Evanston Township in Evanston, Illinois, the 6-foot-6, 200-pound guard is the No. 61 ranked player in the Class of 2017, according to 247Sports. He is the third-best player in the state of Illinois, behind Jeremiah Tilmon (Illinois) and Jordan Goodwin.
Eastern has offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Purdue, Seton Hall, Xavier, Bradley, DePaul, Illinois, Iowa State, LSU, Missouri, Northwestern, UNLV and USC. He is interested in Duke and UCLA, but neither school has offered the guard.
Eastern is averaging 8.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game on the Nike EYBL circuit. He was a finalist for the USA U17 team this summer.
The Wolverines have offered Eastern, Jamal Cain, Brad Davison, Kyle Young, Brian Bowen, Jaren Jackson, and Krus Wilkes from the 2017 class. Michigan has one commitment in four-star point guard Jordan Poole.
