Michigan Commit Impresses at The Opening

Several Michigan commits attended The Opening from Nike HQ over the weekend, but one seemed to stand out above the rest. Per Steve Lorenz of Wolverine247 (FREE), cornerback commit Benjamin St-Juste had an impressive three days at the event. Barton Simmons, the Director of Scouting for 247, stated that he "may have been the best big cornerback at the event."

He is currently a three-star, but may be promoted to four stars in the near future. Read here for more on St. Juste and a highlight reel from the weekend.

2018 4* CB to Visit Michigan This Week

According to Steve Lorenz of Wolverine247 (FREE), 2018 four-star cornerback and wide receiver Brendan Radley-Hiles (CA) will take an unofficial visit to Ann Arbor this week. Per his high school Twitter page:

Hiles is one of the top prospects in the 2018 cycle, ranked at No. 63 overall by the 247Composite. He is also the No. 7 CB in the class. He holds offers from several programs, including Ohio State, Notre Dame, Arizona State, and others.

2018 4* ILB Excited to Hold Michigan Offer

Per Brandon Brown of Rivals ($), 2018 four-star inside linebacker Bumper Pool (TX) received his Michigan offer over the weekend, and he is very excited to visit campus in the near future. In the article, which you will need a Rivals subscription to read, Pool mentioned that he has been in contact with Greg Mattison quite a bit as of late. Pool hopes to visit campus in the fall.

Since Pool is only headed into his junior season, he still has plenty of time as far as recruiting is concerned. The 247Composite lists him as the third-ranked ILB in the 2018 cycle and 19th overall in Texas.

Michigan Holds 247Sports Crystal Ball for 2017 4* CB

According to Steve Lorenz of Wolverine247 (FREE), the Wolverines currently hold 80% of the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions to land 2017 four-star cornerback Ambry Thomas (MI). Thomas is the 15th-ranked CB in his class and second overall in his home state of Michigan.

Per the article, Thomas and current Michigan cornerback Jourdan Lewis are close friends. Watch his junior season highlight reel here, per Hudl:
