The list includes Clemson, Florida State, Florida, Miami (FL) and LSU, but Michigan is still in mind for the top cornerback from the 2018 class.
“I have interest in Michigan,” Surtain said. “I like Michigan and I want to visit them because everyone is telling me how great it is. I want to meet with all the coaches, checkout the great facilities, and stuff like that.”
From American Heritage High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Surtain is the No. 7 ranked player in the Class of 2018, according to 247Sports. He is the top cornerback and the top player from the state of Florida.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound cornerback has offers to play for LSU, Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Arkansas, Auburn, Colorado, Duke, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Miami (FL), Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, N.C. State, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Southern Miss, Syracuse, Temple, Tennessee, UCF, UCLA, USC, USF, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
“I would say LSU is the leader, but it might change,” Surtain said.
