Class of 2018 four-star outside linebacker Ovie Oghoufo told Maize n Brew that he has “lots of interest” in Michigan and has them in his current Top 3.

“I have lots of interest in Michigan because my cousin attended the school and is pretty much all connections,” Oghoufo said. “I have a good relationship with coach [Tyrone] Wheatley and coach [Greg] Mattison.”
Along with Michigan, Oghoufo’s current Top 3 include Michigan State and Notre Dame.
He has offers from Michigan State, Notre Dame, Akron, Ball State, Boston College, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Iowa State, Kentucky, Miami (OH), Michigan, Northern Illinois, Syracuse, Toledo, and Western Michigan.
“It would be an honor to play for such an experienced and respected man,” the four-star from Harrison High School in Farmington, Michigan said regarding the chance at playing for Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh. “His knowledge and love for the game is out of this world.”
The 6-foot-3, 205-pound linebacker is the 283rd overall player in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports. He is the 22nd ranked outside linebacker and the fifth-best player in the state of Michigan.
“I will commit when the time is right,” Oghoufo mentioned.
Oghoufo will visit Michigan for the BBQ at the Big House in early August.
