Herbert has been recruited to Michigan by Tim Drevno and Jedd Fisch. After going to a Michigan satellite camp at St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on June 3 and taking an unofficial visit on June 17, many believe the Wolverines have the upper hand in the fight for the offensive lineman.
He has offers to Florida, Michigan, Miami, Tennessee, Auburn, Mississippi State, California, Colorado, Duke, Florida Atlantic, Goergia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Marshall, Maryland, N.C. State, North Carolina, Ole Miss, UCF, USC, USF, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
The 6-foot-5, 285-pound athlete is the 166th overall play in the Class of 2017, according to 247Sports. He is the 22nd ranked offensive tackle and is 31st in the state of Florida.
