From Rancho Cucamonga High School in California, 2017 four-star athlete Jaylon Redd has released his Top 8, which includes Michigan.
Along with the Wolverines, the list includes Oregon, UCLA, USC, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Arizona, and Arizona State. Redd was offered by Michigan on on May 6, 2015 and has been recruited by Greg Jackson.
Redd is the 202nd overall player in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports. He is the 24th best cornerback and the No. 22 ranked player in the state of California.
The 5-foot-9, 180-pound speedster has a lot of interest in Oregon. Many believe that is where he will eventually commit when the time is right.
In 13 games at the varsity level last season, Redd carried the ball 99 times for 671 yards and nine touchdowns for Rancho Cucamonga High School. He caught 20 passes for 232 yards and three touchdowns. On the defensive end, Redd made 63 total tackles, three interceptions and blocked one punt.
