Class of 2017 four-star all purpose back and cornerback CJ Cotman from Clearwater Central Catholic High School in Florida has told Maize n Brew that UNC, Florida and Tennessee have stood out, but he has “some” interest in Michigan.

“I have some [interest], but they don’t talk to me that much,” Cotman said.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound athlete is the 315th overall player in his class, according to 247Sports. He is the fifth-best all purpose back and the 47th best player in Florida.
Cotman has offers from Michigan, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Auburn, Colorado, Duke, Florida State, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami (FL), Mississippi State, Oregon, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, TCU, UCF, USF, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, Alabama, Arkansas, Boston College, Cincinnati, Clemson, FIU, Florida, and Florida Atlantic. The all purpose back has been recruited to Michigan by Jedd Fisch.
Cotman, during his junior season, racked up 665 yards on the ground, 593 receiving and 15 touchdowns on the offensive end. Defensively, he made 69 tackles, recovered one fumble and had three interceptions, two of which went back for a touchdown.
