Michigan is in contention to sign Donovan Jeter, one of the top defensive tackles in the Class of 2017.
Jeter, a four-star prospect, released his Top 9. The list includes Alabama, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Michigan, Ole Miss, Penn State, Ohio State, Tennessee and Michigan State.
The 6-foot-4, 265-pound defensive tackle from Beaver Falls Area High School in Pennsylvania has offers from Pittsburgh, Penn State, Alabama, Boston College, Iowa State, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami (FL), Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Stanford, Syracuse, Tennessee, UCLA, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Akron, Florida, Temple, and Toledo. He has been recruited to play for the Wolverines by Mike Zordich.
Jeter is the 278th overall player in the Class of 2017, according to 247Sports. He is the 17th best defensive tackle and ranks No. 8 in the state of Pennsylvania.
Michigan already has two defensive tackles committed from the 2017 class in four-star Aubrey Solomon and three-star Phillip Paea.
