Hunter, believe it or not, is from the same hometown as former Michigan shooting guard Caris LeVert. Also, current Michigan tight end Jake Butt attended the same high school as Hunter.
From Pickerington North High School in Ohio, Hunter has offers from Michigan, Dayton, Penn State, West Virginia, Xavier and others. The Wolverines offered Hunter during an unofficial visit on Friday.
The 6-foot-5 small forward is ranked 147th overall by 247Sports in the 2018 class. He is the 36th ranked small forward and the No. 4 player in the state of Ohio.
Hunter is the fourth 2018 prospect to get an offer from Michigan. The other three are Brandon Johnson, Cormac Ryan and Robby Carmody.
