Michigan makes Top 8 for 2017 3-star CB Ameer Speed

The Florida cornerback has cut his list to eight schools.

Class of 2017 three-star cornerback Ameer Speed listed his Top 8 schools, which includes Michigan.

North Carolina, Michigan, Michigan State, South Carolina, Nebraska, Georgia, Virginia Tech and Auburn made the latest list sent out by Speed.

The 6-foot-3, 195-pound defensive back is ranked by 247Sports as the 469th overall prospect in the 2016 class. He is the 48th cornerback and the 68th-best player in the state of Florida.

From Sandalwood High School in Jacksonville, Florida, Speed has offers from Auburn, California, Central Michigan, Charlotte, Colorado, Duke, East Carolina, FIU, Florida Atlantic, Florida State, Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas, Louisville, Maryland, Memphis, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Oregon State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Toledo, Tulane, UCF, USC, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and West Virginia.
