Class of 2018 four-star offensive guard Jalil Irvin has decided to decommit from Michigan.

Irvin committed to Michigan on June 3, 2016. Although he is no longer committed, Irvin says that Michigan is still his “dream school” and in his Top 5.

After losing this commitment, Michigan has lost three athletes in the past 24 hours. 2018 four-star defensive end and tight end Leonard Taylor and 2017 four-star defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon decommitted on Thursday.

From Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia, Irvin is the 289th overall athlete in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports. He is the 12th-best offensive guard and the 24th overall player from the state of Georgia.

The 6-foot-3, 280-pound offensive lineman has offers to Michigan, Illinois and Tulane. He was recruited to Michigan by Tim Drevno and Chris Partridge.
