After kicker Andrew David transferred to TCU and freshman receiver Ahmir Mitchell left the team, Michigan decided to give scholarships to three walk-ons.

Quarterback Garrett Moores has received a scholarship. Moores is a fourth year athlete from Detroit Catholic Central and is the best place holder in college football, according to quarterback Shane Morris.

Michigan linebacker Mike McCray mentioned that safety AJ Pearson and linebacker Mike Wroblewski also earned scholarships.

Pearson, at 6-foot-0, 200 pounds, is going to be a sophomore for the Wolverines and is from Northview High School in Duluth, Georgia. Wroblewski played in high school for University of Detroit Jesuit High School from Detroit, Michigan. The linebacker will be a sophomore.
