According to Steve Lorenz of 247Sports, Michigan is expecting Dylan McCaffrey, a 2017 four-star quarterback commit, to unofficially visit on September 17th against Colorado.
This weekend, Michigan will also host 2017 five-star cornerback/wide receiver Darnay Holmes and 2017 five-star running back Stephen Carr, who is committed to USC.
Lorenz says: “It's probably not a coincidence that McCaffrey will head into town the weekend that former Michigan quarterback and current New England Patriots signal-caller Tom Brady will be in town. Brady was recently named the honorary captain for Saturday's game by head coach Jim Harbaugh.”
McCaffrey has not been to Ann Arbor since the A4 quarterback camp on June 18th.
The 6-foot-5, 195-pound pro-style quarterback from Valor Christian High School (CO) committed to play for the Wolverines on Feburary 15, 2016. He is the 45th overall athlete in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports. McCaffrey is ranked as the No. 3 pro-style quarterback and the top player in the state of Colorado.
Holmes is ranked as the No. 11 player in the 2017 class, while Carr is the No. 14 ranked athlete.
