The new AP Top 25 Poll has been released. After beating Colorado 45-28, Michigan will remain at the spot they where heading into the game, No. 4.
Louisville jumped ahead of Michigan to No. 3 after annihilating No. 2 (at the time) Florida State 63-10.
Ohio State goes from No. 3 to No. 2 after defeating Oklahoma 45-24.
Michigan State shot up from No. 12 to No. 8 with a 36-28 win over Notre Dame.
Michigan remains right where they should be at No. 4. The team did nothing to drop down in the rankings, and the teams ahead of the Wolverines didn’t play poorly enough for Michigan to rise further. The leapfrog of Louisville ahead of Michigan was warranted. Their win over Florida State was highly impressive and they look like the real deal going forward.
Michigan may not have dominated against Colorado, but they still put up a lot of points against a top notch defense, and faced an offense that has NFL caliber receiving depth. The voters got it right this week.
What do you think of the new rankings?
