Jabrill Peppers was named a Walter Camp Player of the Week, along with Oklahoma State wideout James Washington.

Peppers had 3.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, and 9 tackles overall. On offense, 2 rushes for 24 yards. On kick-off/punt returns, Peppers had a combined 180 total yards with a punt return touchdown. Peppers leads the nation in tackles for loss with 9.5 and is No. 1 in punt return yards with 173.

Peppers is now firmly entrenched as a Heisman Trophy candidate. What Peppers has been able to do thus far, what his ceiling is as a player in all three phases of the game... he very well could be one of the Heisman finalists headed to New York City in December. But for now, what a great week that is capped off with being recognized as a Walter Camp Player of the Week.
