Alabama is No. 2, Ohio State No. 5.

Following the week three win over Colorado, the Michigan Wolverines have jumped to the top of Bill Connelley’s S&P+ rankings.

At this point projections are still more than 50 percent of the ratings, which leads to some funky positioning. But UM is a solid 3-0 following three convincing wins against overmatched opponents.

The closest Big Ten foe is Ohio State at No. 5, with Wisconsin being the only other conference team on the board at No. 20.
