Michigan’s Fab Five forum, which is sure to be an interesting discussion of the group and its impact on the university, will take place Oct. 8 at Hill Auditorium
It was 25 ago that the group was first settling on a campus that was buzzing about them. There was Jalen Rose, Chris Webber, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King and Ray Jackson ready to rock the college basketball world.
On Thursday, Michigan formally announced that the College of Literature, Science and the Arts will host an “academic discussion” on the team’s impact and history, per MLive.com.
Three of the five, Rose, King and Jackson, will be on hand. Also joining will be UM professor Yago Colas, University of Houston professor Billy Hawkins and journalist Kevin Blackistone.
King and Colas organized the event, which is free and open to the public. Hill Auditorium seats 3,500.
