Michigan is a Double-Digit Favorite vs. Wisconsin

The Wisconsin Badgers are headed for Ann Arbor next weekend for what should be a colossal top-10 matchup (still waiting for the polls to be released). But the Vegas sportsbooks already have revealed the spread, and they like Michigan to win this game.

The Wolverines opened as a nine-point favorite over Wisconsin on Sunday morning, and the line already has shifted to Michigan -10, according to VegasInsider.com. If that line holds, it will be the fifth straight game this season that the Wolverines have been a double-digit favorite. They were favored by more than 35 points against Hawaii and UCF and by more than 15 points against Colorado and Penn State. This would be the closest spread in a Michigan game so far this season.

This will be the third time that Wisconsin will be an underdog this season. The Badgers were not favored to beat LSU in Week 1 at Lambeau Field or Michigan State in East Lansing on Saturday. However, they beat both, setting up next weekend’s big meeting.
