Class of 2017 4-star athlete Christopher Henderson Jr., a Miami (FL) commit, has canceled his official visit to Michigan on Saturday.

“I won’t be visiting [Michigan] anymore,” Henderson said. “Don Brown never set me for [an official visit] this week when he told me he did. He told me it was set for this week. I guess he didn’t know what official visit meant.”

The running back and cornerback has been planning the official visit to Michigan since August 25th, but apparently plans have changed. Henderson will no longer be taking an official visit this weekend with linebacker KJ Britt, cornerback Shaun Wade, offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood, safety Markquese Bell, center Cesar Ruiz, safety Brelin Faison-Walden, offensive tackle Chuck Filiaga, linebacker Shanon Reid, offensive tackle Jedrick Wills, running back Chase Hayden, linebacker Baron Browning and defensive end Kwity Paye.

Henderson has been committed to Miami (FL) since February 12, 2016, but has offers to play for Miami (FL), Florida, LSU, Alabama, Auburn, Cincinnati, Colorado, Florida Atlantic, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oregon State, Purdue, Syracuse, Temple, Tennessee, USC, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.

Florida is trending upward with Henderson, as the athlete went to Florida’s camp on July 22nd and unofficially visited on September 17th.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound athlete is ranked No. 156 in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports. Henderson is the 18th ranked cornerback and the 29th-best player from the state of Florida.

When asked if he would visit Michigan at all, Henderson said, “I might.”
