On the heels of Michigan’s 63-3 win over Hawaii, Vegas believes that the Wolverines are headed for another blowout next weekend. Michigan opened as a 34.5-point favorite against UCF on Sunday afternoon according to VegasInsider.com, and, in fact, the line has already jumped to Michigan -37. This marks the third time that the Wolverines are a 30-plus point favorite under Jim Harbaugh — 2015 UNLV (-32.5) and 2016 Hawaii (-36.5) were the first two — and the eighth time since the 2011 season.
The Knights opened their 2016 season with a 38-0 win against FCS program South Carolina State on Saturday night. This is the first time that UCF has been a 30-plus-point underdog since November 7, 2009, when Texas was favored 35.5 points. The Longhorns beat UCF, 35-3, in that game.
