Michigan football’s ranking in the AP, USA Today Coaches polls revealed

The Wolverines’ spot in both polls has been released following a wild first week of college football.

The first full week of the college football season is in the books and Michigan has moved up in the polls after a wild first weekend of action.

The Wolverines come in at No. 5 and No. 6 in the AP and USA Today Coaches polls, respectively, having moved up two spots in each.

This is the first time that Michigan has been ranked in the top-five since the 2007 season. The only teams ranked above them are Alabama, Clemson, Florida State and Ohio State.
