Class of 2018 wide receiver and outside linebacker Luke Ford has offers from Minnesota, North Dakota, Ball State, Colorado State, Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois.
Believe it or not, Michigan is showing interest.
“I got an email saying I’m an elite athlete and they will be following up on me,” Ford said. “They said I was a top prospect of 2018 and they will be keeping up with me throughout the season.”
Ford plays tight end, wide receiver and outside linebacker.
“My strengths are throwing people on the ground and I am able to go up and get the ball,” he said. “I am a big target, easy to find and a good blocker. I am fast for my size.”
The 6-foot-6, 235-pound junior from Carterville High School in Illinois is looking to help lead his team all the way.
“To win state,” Ford said, regarding his goals for the 2016 football season. “To give a 100% effort even when I know I ain't getting the ball thrown to me. I also would like to get more offers.”
