“I feel that me and Jim Harbaugh have a great relationship,” Johnson tells Maize n Brew. “But me and my linebacker coach(Chris Partridge) don’t and I know he had control of my playing time and me and his relationship wasn’t as tight as me and coach Harbaugh’s.So I think it was my best decision to part ways.”
He added: “(Partridge)never reached out to me. I didn’t feel like I was a priority.”
He also says he does not know what his other top schools are, but maintains that the Wolverines will remain in the mix.
With Johnson’s decommitment, Otis Reese remains the lone player pledged to the Wolverines in the 2018 class so far.
