Jeremy Ruckert, a 2018 four-star tight end, included Michigan in his Top 5.

Along with the Wolverines, Ruckert listed Alabama, Florida State, Ohio State, and Wisconsin. He mentioned that his visit to Notre Dame in March could impact his top list.

Ruckert, from Lindenhurst High School (NY), is ranked No. 77 in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports. He is the third-best tight end and the No. 2 player from the state of New York.

The 6-foot-6, 230-pound athlete unofficially visited Michigan on July 23rd and November 5th. On November 5th, Ruckert got to watch Michigan defeat Maryland, 59-3.

"There was over 110,000 people there and the coaching staff was very welcoming, and I had great conversations with (Michigan) coach (Jim) Harbaugh and (Michigan senior tight end) Jake Butt," Ruckert told 247 Sports after the November visit. "It was a great visit and I loved how they utilized the tight end."

Michigan has two players committed to its 2018 class in four-star safety/linebacker Otis Reese and four-star offensive lineman Emil Ekiyor.
