“It is with a heavy heart to announce that I am reopening my recruitment to all Universities and football programs for my fifth year,” he said. “Thank you for all the love and support over the last 4 years. GO BLUE!”
As a graduate transfer, he is eligible immediately at a new program.
Dawson played in three games during the 2016 season. He found the field against Rutgers, Illinois, and Maryland. He even got a look at the defensive tackle position against the Scarlet Knights on October 8th.
The 6-foot-4, 325-pound lineman from Cass Technical High School (MI) has played in 16 games over the last three seasons.
