Michigan and offensive coordinator Tim Drevno have agreed to a five-year extension, according to Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports.

The 47-year-old will make $1 million annually with his new contract.
Drevno has coached Cal State Fullerton (1991-1992), Montana State (1993-1997), UNLV (1998), San Jose State (1999), Idaho (2000-2002), San Diego (2003-2006), Stanford (2007-2010), San Francisco 49ers (2011-2013), USC (2014), and Michigan (2015-present). The current Wolverine has coached as a gradate assistant, tight end coach, running back coach, offensive line coach, and has been an offensive coordinator.
The California native is the 80th ranked recruiter in the nation, according to 247Sports. He is the 15th-best in the Big Ten Conference. From the 2017 class, Drevno has recruited Michigan commits Cesar Ruiz, Kai-Leon Herbert, Joel Honigford, Andrew Stueber, and JaRaymond Hall.
He coached alongside Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh for all but one season since 2004. After trying one year at USC, Drevno returned to Harbaugh before the 2015 campaign.
Drevno led Michigan to 6.1 yards per play on offense during the 2016 regular season, which finished 50th in the country. Last season, the Wolverines were 60th with 5.7 yards per play.
