Along with the Wolverines, Bateman has put Louisville and Miami (FL) in his top list.
“They are all my No. 1,” he said, restating that there is not leader in his recruitment.
The 6-foot-8, 305-pound athlete from Gadsden City High School (AL) is ranked No. 610 in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports. He is the 68th-best offensive tackle and the No. 31 ranked player from Alabama.
Bateman unofficially visited Louisville on October 22nd and November 12th. He is planning to take an official visit to the Cardinals on January 14th. The offensive lineman took unofficial visits to Michigan on June 18th and August 6th.
