Class of 2017 four-star offensive tackle Chuck Filiaga has committed to Michigan.
The 6-foot-6, 335-pound athlete from Aledo High School (TX) is ranked No. 98 in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports. He is the 14th-best at his position and is ranked No. 14 in the state of Texas.
After Michigan missed out on 2017 five-star offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson, who decided to head to Georgia, Filiaga became a huge priority for Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines. He could possibly complete for a starting job right away in Ann Arbor.
Filiaga officially visited Michigan (Oct. 1), Oklahoma (Oct. 28), Texas (Dec. 3), and Nebraksa (Dec. 6). He narrowed his college choices to a final three in Michigan, Nebraska, and Oklahoma on December 22nd.
The offensive tackle made his commitment during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl game in San Antonio, Texas.
