Talk about a rebound

On the same day the University of Michigan lost its top recruit in the 2018 class, it also gained a verbal commitment just a couple hours later.

3-star 2018 running back Hassan Haskins out of Eureka, Missouri announced via Twitter Sunday night he is committed to the University of Michigan.

At 6-foot-1 and 202 pounds, Haskins is the 95th rated running back recruit in the 2018 recruiting cycle, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. 247Sports also has Haskins’ 40-yard dash time at 4.74 seconds, but Haskins said in an earlier interview with Scout that his fastest 40-time is 4.58 ($).

The Missouri prospect visited Michigan this past weekend when the Wolverines took on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. He must have really enjoyed his visit, as he committed just one day after the visit. He also held offers from Purdue, Eastern Michigan, Memphis and Western Kentucky, among others.

Haskins is the 15th recruit and second running back to commit to the Wolverines’ 2018 class. 3-star running back Christian Turner committed to the Wolverines back in April.
