Hello, all. First, I want to say I have really enjoyed doing this with all of you, from the emailing to the game stats and the season-long race. Let’s get to it, since this was a very interesting week:
This week was Team Chaos, as the second- and third-leading receivers for Michigan were Chris Evans and Tyrone Wheatley, and Brandon Peters took the reins at quarterback for most of the game.
But the players did fantastic against me (total points: 2,158, barring any mistakes on my part) because of my conservative predictions in the run game, a lot of savvy guesses in favor of Kareem Walker, and of course the fact that I predicted John O’Korn would get 237 yards and he only got 13, which is 5.5% of that. Plus, I really got on the Peoples-Jones train this week, predicting 60 receiving yards with 12 rushing yards, and he ended up with 0.
I also have to give some special shout-outs to Virginia Blue, Grandma Jane ‘71 and vicdsouza for perfect scores - very well done, and a nice blend of guesses in that group. A lot was paying out this week, but rushing remains a good area for the players and they were invested heavily in that department.
Alright, let’s get to the season-long race, and this is where I must bring up that Mr. Consistency finally stumbled:
This is the first time since Week 1 that someone other than ZtMaizeNBlue has led - he had the #1 spot for 49 days, over a month and a half.
Alright, thanks again all, and see you again this next week.
