Michigan/Maryland game time revealed

Traditionalists will be happy about this one

NCAA Football: Rutgers at Michigan Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Around this time last week, Michigan football announced that this week’s matchup between the Wolverines and the Minnesota Golden Gophers would kick off at 7:30 p.m. on FOX.

This week, however, may bring some better news for those traditionalists like myself who enjoy watching the Wolverines before the sun sets.

The University of Michigan announced Monday that its game at Maryland next Saturday (Nov. 11) will kick off at 3:30 p.m. and will be aired on Big Ten Network.

Michigan has not had a 3:30 p.m. start since its season opener against Florida in Arlington, Texas.

Maryland is coming off a 42-39 win against Indiana last weekend; it was its first win in more than a month.

The Terrapins play at Rutgers this weekend at 3:30 p.m. while Michigan plays at home under the lights against Minnesota for the Little Brown Jug.
