Second Quarter

A play has the Michigan defense over-committed to the left side of the field, and Brian Lewerke throws a screen pass to half-back Madre London for a 16 yard touchdown. Michigan State leads 14-3

Third Quarter

After John O’Korn hits Grant Perry on a pass that reaches the one yard line, on the very next play Khalid Hill punches it in for a score. Michigan State leads 14-10
