Mo Hurst: “Our dreams of playing in the playoff aren’t over”

Hope springs eternal?

When there is agonizing defeat, finding optimism can be hard to come by. That wasn’t the case with Michigan Wolverines defensive lineman Maurice Hurst. He believes Michigan still has their big hopes within reach.

“Our dreams of playing in the playoff aren’t over. The way the system is sort of set up, especially in the Big Ten I feel like a one loss team that wins out the rest of the year has an opportunity to play in the playoff. And that’s our goal, that’s our dream, so just keep that dream alive and keep working towards it.”

Tough tests remain for Michigan, among them bouts with Penn State, Wisconsin, and Ohio State loom large. If Michigan can win out, the goal of reaching the College Playoff is possible, but there’s plenty of games to win between now and then and no game is a guarantee in this unforgiving game of football.
