If anyone understands aggression and alpha male enthusiasm, it’s Jim Harbaugh. After a Quinn Nordin missed field goal, it was clear Harbaugh was not happy with Nordin and the special teams unit, and Nordin appeared to be amped in his response to Harbaugh. This was perceived as “heated” by many.

However, this was not the case. The exchange between the two actually showed the competitor Nordin is.
Asked Harbaugh about Nordin exchange after missed FG: 'I said to him ‘I’m giving you one more shot. You’ve got to make the next one. And he said, ‘I got this. I will make the next one.’ You call that a heated exchange, then so be it, but it wasn’t."

Nordin never received another field goal attempt opportunity, but did make his extra point in the fourth quarter.
After getting off to a piping hot start this season, Nordin has struggled of late. It goes to show how mental the game of football is, and how mental the mechanics of a kicker are.
This was healthy. It’s good to see some fire out of a kicker, much better than a timid one coming back to the bench looking defeated and deflated.
It looks like we’re going to have to take Harbaugh’s word, all is well for 8-2 Michigan.
