Jim Harbaugh took to the podium a short time ago for his Monday press conference. Harbaugh talked about Michigan’s win over Maryland and provided some injury updates.

- Said Wisconsin has a very physical defense, good quarterback and running back
- Wilton Speight will be practicing this week, but no contact
- Grant Newsome is progressing well
- Said Karan Higdon “seems good” after leaving the game Saturday with an ankle injury
- Had positive news on Ty Issac but will know more later in the week
- “It’s really simple, he’s gotta make the kicks” in regards to Quinn Nordin’s recent struggles

- Devin Bush is “book smart, football smart”
- Said team has improved since the Penn State loss
- Chris Evans “has been good, really good”, “he is surging”, “he’s in a great place now, been extremely valuable to the football team”, also said he’s been blocking better too
- Nick Eubanks will practice this week but no contact
- Not sure if Speight will be back this season, will leave that decision up to doctors
- Lavert Hill is in concussion protocol
