It wasn’t pretty for John O’Korn today, execution just wasn’t there for him as he made a large handful of missed throws to open targets. On the day O’Korn was 17-32 for 195 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception.
Performance aside, O’Korn knows what he did and did not do in Michigan’s 31-20 loss against the Ohio State Buckeyes. O’Korn is aware that he didn’t have “it”.
After the game, the post game press conferences ended with O’Korn in tears delivering a heartfelt statement of disappointment and accountability.
“The hardest part for me is you come here to win this game and our senior class wasn’t able to do it, and I hold myself responsible for a lot of that. It sucks. I can’t imagine a worse feeling right now.”
While nothing can change the mistakes he made nor will his statement make anyone feel better about the loss, no one probably feels worse about how things went today than John O’Korn.
