Karan Higdon is the first Michigan Wolverines running back to run for 200 yards twice in a season since Mike Hart. After the game, Higdon spoke about his accomplishment.

“It’s big time to meet that goal and meet that accomplishment. When I found out during the game I had 200 again I almost wanted to cry because I was so excited and so happy to share that moment with my boys Chris and Kareem. The O-line and Mason all knew. Like Chris (Evans) said, to see all that hard work pay off, it’s a team effort and when we’re meeting goals like that it’s not just me doing it, it’s all of us doing. I didn’t get there by myself so I’m thriving in that.”

On the day, Higdon rushed for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns. He had touchdown runs of 77 and 5 yards. Chris Evans also had a highly impressive performance, rushing for 191 yards and 2 touchdowns.
