Every now and then there’s a game that was over before it began, Michigan’s basketball game against Alabama A&M (0-12) was one of those, beating the team from down south 97-47.
This game was all about Wolverines guard Charles Matthews, who had a near perfect performance. In all, Matthews had a career high 31 points, going 12-15 from the field, his three missed shots coming from beyond the arc.
The whole Michigan team shot well, 36-59 for a 61% FG percentage. A three point clinic was put on by Duncan Robinson (5-7) and Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman (4-5). Michigan went 15-31 from downtown.
The Wolverines are now 11-3 on the season. Their next game will be on December 30th at home against Jacksonville.
